Owen's Christmas Program

Every year that we've been at Children's Way they've put on a Christmas program. I love that they aren't afraid to talk about holidays even if it means celebrating lots of things. I'd rather my kids know all about Divali, Kwanza, Christmas and Hanukah than be totally ignorant about most of them. So it makes me smile that the preschool tries their best with this and ends with a "Christmas" program.

Owen was ready to go this year and we had been hearing the songs he would sing for a few weeks at home. All the practice was paying off!

Collin sat with us as we waited for this how. Unfortunately we picked the wrong side- Owen was sitting clear across the sanctuary, but it was still fun to see all the other children sign and spy him in the middle.

Here he his walking in to find his spot. And below, its hard to see him, but he's in the back near the other end of the line.

While the other classes were singing he and his buddy Philip sat and watched. I think they look like a couple of old little men in these photos.
And here they are singing away. It was such a fun show.

Merry Chistmas!
